CHESS JAWA RETURNS TO DRAGON CON – 5TH STRAIGHT YEAR

The Chess Jawa is returning to Atlanta for his 5th straight appearance at Dragon Con this year. The Jawa will play chess to raise money for the Dragon Con charity, Special Olympics Georgia.
“I’m really happy to be supporting Special Olympics Georgia,” said the Jawa. “I’ll be playing as much chess as my little Jawa legs can handle to help raise money for this fantastic cause.”
Last year the Chess Jawa raised $1,150 for charity. “This year I hope I can raise even more!” said the Jawa.
Individuals wishing to “Play Chess with a Jawa” should look for the Chess Jawa in the Marriott Atrium Level, near the Starbucks. Everyone who plays gets an “I played Chess with a Jawa” sticker. Anyone who defeats the Chess Jawa receives a Double Sun Chess Club Patch.
“Dragon Con has the best chess players in the galaxy!” reported the Jawa. “I hope everyone stops by for a game!”
