Chess Jawa returns for DragonCon 2023

CHESS JAWA RETURNS FOR DRAGON CON 2023

August 31-September 4, 2023

The Chess Jawa is thrilled to return to Atlanta for Dragon Con 2023, his 11th year playing chess to raise money for the Dragon Con charity. As in past years, the Jawa will be playing in the Marriott Lobby near the Starbucks. All challengers are welcome, and everyone who plays gets a sticker!

This year's charity is CURE Childhood Cancer. "CURE Childhood Cancer is a wonderful organization," said the Jawa, "they fund research on childhood cancers and also support kids with cancer and their families." He added, "I hope to raise over $3,000 for them!"

I"I'm really looking forward to the chess games too this year," said the Jawa. "Last year, I played over 215 games. I even lost 2 of them! Dragon Con provides the best competition in the galaxy."

100% of donations made during Dragon Con weekend will go to CURE Childhood Cancer. Donate in person or online through PayPal to chessjawa@gmail.com or Venmo to @chessjawa.
